Two Injured In NW OKC Apartment Fire

Crews battled a large apartment fire in northwest Oklahoma City Tuesday morning.

The Oklahoma City Fire Department was called to a fire at the Heritage Park Apartments at 12229 Heritage Park Road in Oklahoma City.

At least 50 firefighters battled the three-alarm blaze where they had to rescue a man who was trapped on the second floor. Officials say the man is in critical condition. He was one of the two victims rushed to the hospital due to smoke inhalation.

Police at one point knocked on several doors, making sure everyone got out.

The fire has been contained and crews are working to put out hotspots. Six units were affected by this fire.

No cause has been determined yet.
