Hot, Humid, And Steamy Friday In Oklahoma

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Morning showers are ongoing in parts of the state, and they will decrease through the morning.

Later on Friday, you can expect a hot, humid and steamy afternoon with the high in the low 90s. Partly cloudy skies and a UV index of 11 will make you feel like it's late July.

The heat index will make it feel about 98 degrees. So stay in the shade if possible and drink plenty of water.

Friday night, it will be hot and breezy with an overnight low near 70 degrees.

It will be warm with lots of sunshine over the weekend. The first day of summer arrives at 5:51 a.m. Saturday.
