The United States Geological Survey reported a 4.3 magnitude earthquake in Grant County Friday evening.
At 6:10 p.m. Friday, a quake was recorded 9 miles southwest of Medford, 19 miles north of Enid, at a depth of over two miles.
There are no reports of major injury or damage at this time.
According to the USGS, earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely from quakes at a 4.0 magnitude and higher.
