OKC Energy FC and the Rochester Rhinos played to a 0-0 draw Sunday night at Pribil Stadium in front of 3,405 fans.
Energy FC's best chance came late in the match, when Nate Shiffman found a wide open Steven Perry with a clear lane to the Rochester net from about 20 yards out. As Perry moved into the penalty box looking to shoot, Rhinos keeper John McCarthy made a diving save attempt that upended Perry and kept the match scoreless.
Though Rochester outshot OKC 11-8, Energy FC keeper Jon Kempin kept the Rhinos off the scoreboard with two saves, including a match-saver in the 41st minute of play off a close range shot by Rochester's Jossimar Sanchez.
With the draw, Energy FC's record moved to 4-7-3 on the season, while Rochester went to 6-4-6.
Energy FC is back in action Saturday, June 28, when it takes on Sacramento Republic FC in a 7 p.m. start at Pribil Stadium.
