A man was caught red handed after breaking into a pharmacy in Enid, Monday night.
Enid Police responded to Rick's Pharmacy around 11:40 p.m. Monday after an alarm had been activated. When an officer arrived he spotted the suspect, 38-year-old Jesse Fisher, standing on a corner directly south of the building.
The officer said Fisher was wearing a camouflage jacket, camouflage pants and a camouflage hat. When the officer shined his spotlight on Fisher, he said Fisher began to walk away.
As the officer began to driver up behind Fisher he noticed a pill bottle fall from his jacket. Fisher then took off running and the officer got out and pursued on foot. During the chase the officer noted more pill bottle falling from Fisher's jacket.
The officer was able to subdue Fisher and place him in handcuffs. He discovered more pill bottles on Fisher once he was in custody. He also found a crowbar believed to be used in breaking into the pharmacy.
Once in custody, authorities say Fisher admitted he had broken into the pharmacy. He also admitted to two previous burglaries at the pharmacy in which stole pain killer. He told police he had some items from the previous burglaries in his closet at home.
Enid Police officers were able to locate the two previous burglary reports to Rick's Pharmacy, one occurring on June 1 and the other on June 16.
Fisher was arrested an d booked into jail on three counts of second-degree burglary, possession of a controlled dangerous substance, knowingly concealing public property and possession of burglary tools.
