Suspicious Package At State Capitol Parking Lot Deemed Safe

A suspicious package found at the Oklahoma State Capitol on Monday has been deemed safe.

According to authorities, the suspicious bag was found at about 11:30 a.m. in a parking lot at the State Capitol. The Oklahoma Highway Patrol sent a bomb squad to check out the package.

It turns out, someone had forgotten their bag in the parking lot. Authorities say that person came back and got the bag.
