A man from Wayne, Okla. was killed in a wreck Thursday night in McClain County.
It happened at 9:35 p.m. Thursday on U.S. 77, south of 186th Street.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 31-year-old Ricky Richardson was traveling southbound on U.S. 77 when he went left of center and struck another vehicle in the northbound lane.
OHP said Richardson was pinned for about three hours and pronounced dead at the scene.
The collision report states Richardson's vehicle had three passengers, 28-year-old Angel Elkins and two children, ages six and eight. Troopers said Elkins refused medical treatment at the scene and both children were transported to OU Medical Center with head, trunk internal, leg and arm injuries, but both are listed in fair condition.
OHP said the second vehicle was driven by 39-year-old Jason Mills, and there was one five-year-old passenger. Both went to Purcell Medical Center, but their conditions were not listed in the report.
The report states no one from Richardson's vehicle was wearing a seatbelt, and the condition of the driver is under investigation.
