Police Arrest 1, Seek 2nd Suspect In NW OKC Deadly Stabbing

Police have arrested one suspect and are looking a second one after a man was stabbed to death early Sunday morning in northwest Oklahoma City.

Police have arrested one suspect and are looking a second one after a man was stabbed to death early Sunday morning in northwest Oklahoma City.

According to police, at about 12:30 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to an assault near N.W. 9th and Klein. When they arrived, they found the victim lying at N.W. 10th and Klein.

Police say the victim had trauma to his body. He was transported to an area hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police have not identified the victim at this time, pending notification of family members.

Investigators learned that a domestic-related altercation had taken place at a home in the 1200 block of N.W. 9th Street.  Police say the victim's girlfriend, 39-year-old Jamie Whiteeagle, and another man illegally entered the victim's home. Once inside, the victim was assaulted.

According to police, the victim was cut in the chest but still ran after his attacker. Officers found him in the street, a block away in a pool of blood, wearing his pajamas.

Whiteeagle was arrested Sunday morning on charges of first-degree murder and first-degree burglary. However, police say the other man involved in the assault is still on the run.
