OKLAHOMA CITY -- It's a very warm morning with 70s and 80s already in the state.
Skies are partly cloudy with southerly winds 10-15mph. By noon we will be in the 90s and getting hotter.
The highs late day will be near 98 in central Oklahoma. Western parts of the state will see low 100s in some areas.
A cold front is dropping into the state during the day. It may only drop the temperatures a couple of degrees, but will bring a north wind and a chance for showers and thunderstorms by the afternoon.
It won't be a big weather deal for many, but a north wind and a chance for showers in July is always welcome.
Tuesday night will be mild with low 70s and a better chance for rain over night and into Wednesday.
