Semi-Truck Carrying Cement Overturns On Flooded Road In Del City

A semi-truck carrying powdered cement overturned on a flooded road in Del City, Wednesday morning.

According to authorities, crews responded to the wreck just after 6 a.m. in the area of N. Vickie Drive and N.E. 4th Street.

Officials say two semi-trucks were attempting to pass one another on a narrow road. However, one semi tipped over into a ditch. The driver didn't see the ditch because the road was flooded.

Crews did find a small leak from the overturned semi. A hazmat crew has also been called to respond to the scene.
