The man accused of killing his girlfriend's ex-boyfriend and then chopping up the body and putting it into buckets has testified about some of the details of the crime.
Justin Hammer, 32, has been charged with first-degree murder in the 2012 death of 32-year-old Brandon Duran.
KXII News 12 reported Wednesday that Hammer pled not guilty and testified in the Garvin County Courthouse that he shot Duran in self-defense. He claimed he was afraid of Duran, because he thought he was a member of the “Banditos” motorcycle gang.
Hammer also provided details on how he cut up and disposed of Duran’s body.
