The Federal Bureau of Investigation Oklahoma City Division and the Geary Police Department are investigating a bank robbery that took place in Geary Thursday morning. Now, they are asking the public for assistance in identifying the suspect.
The robbery took place around 10 a.m. Thursday at the Bank of Western Oklahoma, located at 101 W. Main Street in Geary.
According to the FBI, a male suspect entered the bank, verbally demanded money from a teller and implied he had a gun. However, no weapon was seen.
FBI agents said the teller complied, and the suspect left with the money in a yellow plastic bag.
The suspect was described as a white male, mid 20s, brown hair, standing 5’6”, weighing 135 lbs., clean shaven, wearing a red and white OU baseball cap, sunglasses, a light-colored t-shirt, blue jeans and carrying a yellow plastic bag.
The release states the suspect was last seen leaving the bank on foot, heading northbound on Main Street.
The FBI said no one was injured in this robbery.

According to the FBI, the Oklahoma Bankers Association offers a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of anyone responsible for robbing a member bank.
