A warm Oklahoma morning is underway. Most of the state is reporting mid-70s temperatures with light 5-10mph southerly winds.
By noon, we will be in the upper 80s and on our way to the afternoon high of 96 degrees. Hot and windy conditions will persist on Friday and over the weekend, so if you are a pool person or have a lake adventure this weekend, you will feel at home.
Friday night, it will be hot early evening with overnight lows near 75 degrees. On Saturday and Sunday, it will be hot and sunny with at or near 100 degrees.
Next week brings change in the form of cooler weather and rain chances.
By July’s standards, when is the last time we had 70s for the high? You will have to go back into the history books, but it has happened before, and it will happen next week.
Don’t get your hoodies out yet though, we will heat up the following week.
