A benefit fund has been set up for the tragic ATV accident that claimed the life of a Hinting man at the "Smoke on the Water" boat races in El Reno, last Sunday.

El Reno police say 26-year-old Lane Smith was a passenger on the ATV on the southeast end of Lake El Reno. Police say Smith was thrown off the ATV and landed on the roadway.

He was transported to OU Medical Center where he died from his injuries.

Officials say Smith was expecting a son this September.

If you would like to donate, a Lane Frost Smith Tragedy Fund has been set up at Legacy Bank that will later help take care of his son.
