Police are looking for a man who was caught on camera robbing a convenience store in southwest Oklahoma City.
According to police, officers responded to the report of a robbery at about 4:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 14 at a Circle K, located at 441 W. Interstate 240 service road.
The clerk told police that a man walked into the store and yelled, “This is a robbery. Give me all the money.” The man then followed the clerk behind the counter.
The clerk said the suspect squatted behind the counter, and told her to open the cash register. As the suspect was grabbing money out of the register, a witness walked in. That’s when the clerk yelled for help.
The suspect was able to get away with an undisclosed amount of cash. The clerk said she followed the suspect out and saw him leaving the scene in a red, single-cab, Chevy pickup truck. The vehicle was possibly a 2006 model.
Officers said they were able to lift three latent fingerprints from behind the counter. The entire incident was also caught on camera. That surveillance video was released on Friday, July 25.
If you recognize this man, or have any information, call Crime Stoppers (405)-235-7300.
