Officials say emergency crews responded to a motorcycle injury accident in Edmond, Saturday afternoon.
It happened at the intersection of E. 33rd Street and S. Boulevard Street in Edmond.
According to officials, a man driving a motorcycle was attempting to avoid a collision with a vehicle that was turning in front of him when he went down.
Officials say the man was not wearing a helmet, and he was transported to the OU Presbyterian hospital with substantial head trauma.
The man’s identity has not been released.
Edmond police were detouring traffic around the area of the accident, but the intersection is now open.
