Oklahoma State’s season opener against defending national champion Florida State is already a highly-anticipated matchup but it just got taken up a notch.
ESPN announced on Tuesday night that College Gameday will broadcast live from the Cowboys Classic in Arlington on the opening Saturday of the college football season.
OSU has become a regular stop on the Gameday tour in recent years, including last season’s matchup against No. 3 Baylor in Stillwater. The 11th-ranked Cowboys won that contest by a decisive 49-17 margin.
This will be OSU’s second-straight game in Cowboys Stadium after falling in the Cotton Bowl to Missouri to finish last season.
