The TSA says it recently found a loaded gun inside a passenger's carry-on luggage at Will Rogers World Airport.
According to the TSA, it’s the 14th firearm they've found during routine security screenings at Will Rogers this year. The latest incident happened Tuesday morning.
TSA says one of its agents discovered the 9 millimeter glock, loaded with 10 rounds, inside a person's carry-on bag. The TSA alerted police who then took possession of the weapons and questioned the passenger.
This happened less than 24 hours after TSA agents also discovered a loaded firearm at Tulsa's International Airport.
Nationwide, the TSA says it collects more than 1,000 firearms at security checkpoints every year.
Authorities have not released the name of the person carrying the firearm or if they could face any charges.
