A mild morning is in progress with most of the state in the 60s and 70s.
Scattered showers are moving into the state from the west and this trend will go on most of the day, giving us a 100 percent chance for rain in much of our region.
Winds will stay light and easterly on Wednesday under mostly cloudy skies. The morning temperatures will likely be the high for the day as rain cooled air will keep us in the upper 60s and low 70s.
As the rain moves into the metro, you can expect two to three inches of rain for the day. Some localized areas may see 4 inches.
So pack the umbrella or a rain coat.
Wednesday night, we will have scattered showers with an overnight low in the mid-60s. The temperatures will be in the 70s and 80s for the next week.
