Last night, I talked about Whoopi Goldberg's warning to women that if you hit a man expect to be hit back. She said do not live with this idea that men have this chivalry thing still with them.
That was disappointing to hear, and I asked where are all the gentlemen?
Hundreds of you responded.
Jessica from Norman wrote:
"Can't find em in their 20's, my generation, that's for sure."
But Chassidy in Prague said:
"Just this morning I had a flat, and two older gentlemen helped put my spare on for me while it rained."
From Carl:
"..if a woman hits a man she is no longer a lady and is saying she can take it like a man."
Keven disagrees with that:
"if you hit a woman because she hit you, then she's not hitting a man in the first place."
Amy wrote:
"I'm ready for guys to start acting like gentleman and less like self-centered, entitled, selfish, thugs. Thanks for standing up for the ladies!
Teresa in Altus:
"Kelly, I stood up and clapped after your 2 cents..."
Jared in Dale points out:
"Gentlemen aren't the hot commodity they used to be."
Pamela in Mustang:
"I've found that when I act like a lady, suddenly I see gentlemen everywhere."
Finally, Shiela in Ponca City's theory on the demise of chivalry:
"There were these women that thought they should be treated equal to men. And they screwed everything up!!!
