Head-On Collision Sends Three To Hospital In East OKC

Three people were reportedly injured in a head-on collision in east Oklahoma City, early Friday morning.

Authorities closed East Britton Road near Midwest Boulevard as they worked to clear the scene of a head-on collision. The accident happened just after 4 a.m. 

Police told News 9 Traffic Traffic Bill "Fig" Newton at least three victims have been rushed to a hospital.

Drivers were being urged to avoid the area while investigators complete their work.

The cause of the collision is under investigation.
