Police are investigating a shooting that occurred near a gas station in southeast Oklahoma City, Saturday evening.
Officers were called to the scene at the 7-11, near SE 15th St. and Interstate 35, around 7 p.m.
According to police, a family driving in the area heard something hit their car and pulled over to the gas station to investigate. That is when they discovered their car had been hit by a small bullet.
Police believe the bullet splintered on impact and some of the shrapnel caused minor scrapes on some of the people in the car.
No one was seriously injured and police do not have any suspect information.
