I-40 Shut Down After Semi Overturns

Officials say Interstate 40 was shut down Saturday, as crews responded to an injury accident involving an overturned semi.

According to the Oklahoma Department of Transportation, all lanes of westbound I-40 near Air Depot Boulevard in Midwest City will reopen by 11 p.m. Saturday. 

ODOT says the westbound I-40 on-ramp from Air Depot Boulevard will remain closed until noon Sunday for ongoing cleanup.

Officials say one person with minor injuries was treated.

The cause of the accident and the identity of the driver have not been released.
