A woman was arrested after police said she robbed an Oklahoma City convenience store at gunpoint.
According to police, at about 1 a.m. on Sunday, July 27, officers responded to the report of an armed robbery at Reload Convenience Store, located at 3217 S. Shields.
The clerk said a woman approached the night window and asked to purchase a black and mild cigar. When the clerk returned with the cigar, the woman, later identified as 31-year-old Candice Beavers, was pointing a gun at the clerk through the window.
Beavers reportedly asked the clerk to give her the money from the register. The clerk complied. Police said Beavers then ran away from the scene on foot.
Beavers was arrested and booked into the Oklahoma County Jail Monday afternoon on one count of first-degree robbery.
