Robin William's suicide is a painful reminder it's critical that those battling mental illness and their loved ones not isolate themselves, or think they're the only ones, because it's all around us.

Here's what you had to say about My 2 Cents.

Rhonda in Perkins first:

"I cried. Not tears of sadness, but tears of joy. Because a well known personality, stopped & spoke up & made people aware that this is not a made up excuse."

Another Ronda wrote:

"Thank you kind sir: for bringing up such a hard topic. I almost never speak about it but I live with it everyday."

Debra said:

"Depression is real and the whole family lives with it when one individual in the family is diagnosed with it!"

Pamela from Mustang wrote:

"It isn't something to be ashamed of. It's a chemical imbalance in the brain that's beyond our control."

Zed in Norman:

"The hardest (scariest) part is admitting you have a problem."

From Ron:

"Kelly this is your very BEST my 2 cents ever!!!"

Finally, Patrick said:

"Thank You, Kelly, for immediately making this a topic of discussion...we all know people around us who are afraid to ask for help because of the stigma attached to a person having a 'mental' illness."
