Emergency crews responded to a semi-truck rollover crash on Interstate 40, Thursday evening.
It happened about a quarter mile from the Douglas exit on westbound Interstate 40.
According to officials, the driver fell asleep, exited the roadway, attempted to reenter the roadway but overcorrected and flipped the semi-truck.
Officials say a passenger, who was asleep in the semi-truck's sleeper, was injured and transported by EMSA to a local hospital.
They say the driver was not injured in the crash, and the driver's cat fled into a nearby tree line and is now missing.
