The emergency management director for Comanche County has been charged with engaging in inappropriate sexual conduct with a 14-year-old boy.

According to Lieutenant Charlie Martin with the Lawton Police Department, at 4:10 p.m. on August 12, officers responded to an incident in the 5300 block of Columbia. Lt. Martin says officers determined there was a possible inappropriate conversation between a juvenile and an adult male on a social media site.

Police say further investigation and a search warrant led to the arrest of Clinton Lee Wagstaff.

The Lawton Constitution reports that 61-year-old Clint Wagstaff is facing four felonies. He was ordered to remain in custody at the county jail in lieu of a $200,000 bond.

Wagstaff said during a court hearing on Friday that he would need a public attorney.

Lawton police say Wagstaff allegedly met the boy in May and his parents intercepted Facebook messages after they noticed their son had unexplained cash to spend.

The punishment for each charge ranges from 10 to 30 years.
