It’s partly cloudy and mild Tuesday morning with a few storms in Northern Oklahoma ongoing.

Much of the state is reporting mid 70s with southerly winds 10-20mph. Later, hot and humid with mostly clear skies and a UV index of 9.

Ozone is moderate for much of the state Tuesday. The high will be in the upper 90s.

We are keeping a 20 percent chance for afternoon thunderstorms in the forecast. They, like Monday, will be more heat generated thunderstorms with the peak heating of the day and will be scattered.

Tuesday night, it will be hot early with overnight lows in the mid-70s. The 9 day is full of 90 degree plus sun shiny days.
