Next month, UCO will begin to offer Spanish-speaking tours for prospective students for the first time.
UCO Sophomore Sam Corrales, an Oklahoma City native, will conduct the one and a half-hour tours at noon every other Monday.
UCO's Hispanic population stands at 7 percent, but it is rising.
“We're offering more services to people who probably would have never thought about UCO,” Corrales said.
UCO says they're the first college or university in Oklahoma to offer regularly scheduled Spanish-speaking tours.
