Tulsa Police Investigating Discovery Of Four Bodies As Murder-Suicide

On 8/26/2014 at 12:38 am Tulsa Police received a call of a shooting with multiple victims at 2190 S 109 EA Apartment B.  First responders arrived and found an adult female 22 years old, a five year old female and a 3 year old male all shot and killed.  The investigation reveals that a 35 year old male shot the three victims and then killed himself.  We are working on family notification and have determined that the male is the estranged husband of the female and that the children belonged to the now dead male and female.  The female victim had dropped off the children off at their father's apartment earlier in the day.  The female victim returned in the evening hours and brought a two year old child with her.  This child was related to the female victim's roommate and they were living at a separate location.  This child was in the apartment at the time of the shootings but was not harmed.  This child has been reunited with her mother .

The male suspect was living at the apartment with two other male roommates that were  not present during the shooting.  The apartment does not show any signs of a struggle and it appears that the male surprised the female shooting her and then killing their children.  The male then took his own life. 

The bodies were discovered at 12:35 am when one of the roommates arrived home and discovered the murder scene.  All of the victims are from Guatemala with no next of kin living in the United States.  This is hampering the notification process. 

This will be murders number 33, 34, 35 for Tulsa in 2014.
