Oklahoma City native and former Heritage Hall High star Wes Welker has been suspended four games for violating the NFL's substance abuse policy, that according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Schefter reports that Welker's suspension stems from the use of amphetamines.

Welker, who moved from the New England Patriots to the Denver Broncos prior last season, caught 73 passes last for 778 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2013.
