Oklahoma is starting to see signs of change in our weather patterns.

The arrival of strong cool fronts and thunderstorms usually marks two things we count on every year, the arrival of autumn and the State Fair monsoon season.

Most of the changes are welcome as we start seeing 80s for the afternoon high and 50s-60s for the overnight low. Changes are coming.

Your Thursday forecast includes a warm and breezy morning with upper 70s and a few 80s out the door. Later today you can expect a hot and windy day with highs near 95 degrees and southerly winds 15-25mph.

Skies are mostly sunny and air quality is good. The UV index is still high but will start tapering down as the suns angle to the earth changes, you can still get a sunburn though.

Tonight, it will be warm with an overnight low in the mid-70s. Friday will be hot with a strong cool front moving through late day. This will bring cooler temperatures and rain chances into Saturday. Stay tuned for more.
