Your 2 Cents: Give More Cyclists More Room As They Ride

A rider was hit by a vehicle in a charity bicycle ride I rode in this weekend. Last night I urged drivers to be considerate of cyclists because there are going to be more and more of us getting our exercise on two wheels as we get older.

Heather: "I was literally cheering when I was watching the news last night and Kelly was giving his 2 cents!"

Erik in Edmond: "I have no problem sharing the road with riders but I do have a problem with the ones who run stop signs."

Several shared that sentiment.

Kristen in Newalla: "Bicycles are toys and toys do not belong on the roadways. Keep the toys in the park where they belong."

Jim in Yukon: "There is a state statute that states you must give bicyclists at least 3 feet clearance when passing them."
