Authorities have arrested a man who is accused of stabbing another man to death in Wewoka, Oklahoma.
Seminole County Sheriff's deputies took 45-year-old Jesus Sanchez into custody Friday afternoon. Deputies spotted Sanchez walking to the apartment complex where the murder took place and arrested him for first degree murder. Sanchez was booked into the county jail.
According to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, at about 9:30 p.m. Thursday, Wewoka police received a 911 call about a man who had been stabbed at an apartment, located in the 100 block of E. 8th Street.
The victim, 23-year-old Durrell Fulbright, was transported to the hospital in Holdenville, where he was pronounced dead. Police said Fulbright was stabbed multiple times while he was visiting friends at the apartment.
Wewoka police requested OSBI agents' help in the investigation.
