The United States Geological Survey reported an earthquake in Medford Tuesday evening.
A 3.3 magnitude earthquake was reported at 5:35 p.m. Tuesday in Medford, about 28 miles north, northeast of Enid. It was deeper than three miles.
There are no reports of major injury or damage at this time.
According to the USGS, earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely from quakes at a 4.0 magnitude and higher.
