Your Thursday forecast includes a warm breezy morning with mostly 70s around the state.
Part of the southeast region is in the 60s. Skies are partly cloudy with southerly winds about 10 mph.
There are currently a few storms in the eastern part of the state. Later today, it will be hot and humid with a high near 92 degrees in central Oklahoma.
Partly cloudy skies with southerly winds about 10 mph will stay with us most of the day. Rain chances today are less than 20 percent, but that will change soon.
Tonight, it will be hot with an overnight low in the 70s. We will be entering a cooler and wetter pattern by this weekend and it may signal the summer time heat to go away as Monday is the official start of autumn.
We are closely watching the remnants of once Hurricane Odile as it swings towards Oklahoma. It will most likely bring at least 2” to 3” of rain to Oklahoma with much higher totals possible.
