Chickasha Man Accused Of Hitting Pregnant Girlfriend With Car, Kidnapping Her

Police in Chickasha arrested a man who is accused of hitting his pregnant girlfriend with a car and then kidnapping her.

Officers arrested 20-year-old Manolito Portillo Monday night in the 100 block of S. 11th Street. 

Witnesses told police that Portillo was arguing with his girlfriend, who is 5-month pregnant, inside a car. The woman got out and tried to walk away. That's when Portillo reportedly backed into her, knocked her over, then picked her up and put her in the car.

Officers found the couple a block away and took Portillo into custody.

The woman was not injured.
