It is mild this Friday morning with most of the state reporting 60s temperatures.
Winds are light and southerly 5-10 mph. Later today, it will be warm and humid as we get into the mid-80s in central Oklahoma. Skies will be partly cloudy with light southerly winds.
We have no real rain chances in the state today. Tonight, Warm and breezy with an overnight low near 70 degrees.
Your Weekend ahead … we were expecting the remnants of former hurricane Odile to make it into Oklahoma for a weekend washout. But it looks like Texas will get the bulls eye for heavy rains.
Oklahoma will have a 20 to 30 percent chance for rain both Saturday and Sunday leaving great opportunities to get out to the fair, have a garage sale or see a football game.
Current data suggest we stay mostly dry for the weekend. But with hurricane left overs we need to watch it for changes.
