USAF's 'Dimensions In Blue' To Perform At OKC National Memorial And Museum

The U.S. Air Force “Dimensions in Blue” jazz ensemble will play a special performance at the Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum at 2 p.m. on September 21.

The U.S. Air Force “Dimensions in Blue” jazz ensemble will play a special performance at the Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum at 2 p.m. on September 21.

According to MSgt. Eric Frank, “Dimensions in Blue” is a 19-piece jazz big band, and it is one of 11 groups within the U.S. Air Force Band of the West.

The band is from San Antonio but includes members from all over the nation.

MSgt. Frank said the purposes of the U.S. Air Force Band of the West include recruitment, military functions and community outreach.

He also said the band does deploy, and their primary purpose overseas is to support the embassy and to boost troop morale.

The performance will be free and open to the public.
