Tonight it feels like we are really taking the fight to ISIS, and the reports are encouraging, at least as far as who's joining us.

Fighters and bombers and Tomahawk missiles are hitting some 20 targets in Syria.

And the reports are, and this is very important from a Middle East perception standpoint, our planes have been joined by bombers from five Arab nations that realize the threat these Islamic extremists are to their region.

And give President Obama and his team credit for building that kind of coalition.

Hopefully these Arab countries, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Bahrain and Qatar will stay with it and success from the air will motivate them to commit the ground forces that military experts say are critical to really destroying ISIS.

And I suspect it is no coincidence that the President pulled the trigger today on the beginning of this air assault in Syria after developments this past weekend.

ISIS sent out a social media blast urging followers to use any way they could to kill civilians here in the US, Canada, France, Australia and any country that is uniting against them, to kill the unbelievers living in the coalition countries.

Not a fight we wanted, but it's a threat we can't ignore.

I'm Kelly Ogle and that's My 2 Cents.
