Civilian Employers Featured At Hiring Event In Fort Sill

Service members will have the chance to interact with approximately 60 civilian employers with vacant positions to fill.

The Oklahoma National Guard's Employment Coordination Program is co-sponsoring an Oklahoma Military Connection hiring event at Fort Sill in Lawton.

The event is from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Sept. 25.

Registration is required of current and former service members.

Coordinators hope at least 75 jobseekers will find employment at this event alone.

Before the hiring event, jobseekers can attend one of three workshops where they will learn to prepare for interview, create effective resumes and how to dress for interviews.

The first of those workshops will be at the Harry S. Truman Education Center on Fort Sill on Sept. 24 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
