Police Investigate Sexual Assault Of Student On OCU Campus

A campus-wide alert remains in effect Monday morning at Oklahoma City University following the sexual assault of a student.

Oklahoma City University Police are releasing few details, saying the assault is under investigation. But according to the student-run website "MediaOCU.Com," the attack happened early Sunday morning outside Draper Hall.

Although it's not clear if the victim lives in Draper Hall, we do know that is a co-ed dorm as of this year.

According to the site, the suspect is still on the run. The university doesn't believe the suspect is affiliated with OCU.

The campus police department is expected to release more information later on Monday.

Meanwhile, students are encouraged to call OCU police for an escort when walking across campus at night.
