OKC Animal Shelter Waives, Discounts Adoption Fees

The Oklahoma City Animal Shelter is kicking off October by waiving adoption fees for cats and discounting fees for dogs.

On October 4 and 5, the shelter will be waiving adoption fees for all cats and kittens.

To celebrate Adopt-a-Dog month, adoption fees for dogs and puppies will be half price – $30 – for the entire month of October.

The shelter said all pets are sterilized, vaccinate and treated for fleas and ticks.

The Oklahoma City Animal Shelter is open from noon to 5:45 p.m. every day except holidays at S.E. 29th Street and S. Bryant Avenue, 1.5 miles east of Interstate 35.
