Logan County deputies wrapped up an investigation leading them to move forward with charging a 68-year-old man on child molestation allegations.

Investigators began working on the case in March after the Oklahoma Department of Human Services reported the allegations.

The two victims involved are cousins and great nephews of the suspect, Samuel Mark Selig. One victim lives in Logan County and the other lives in McIntosh County.

During an interview with one of the victims, it was alleged that Selig had been showing what appeared to be child pornography on a home computer.

Selig was interview in April with his attorney. During the interview, Selig told investigators he did not molest one of the original victims in the investigation, but confessed to molesting a different great nephew on a recent visit.

Authorities with the Oklahoma Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) completed a forensic analysis on Selig's computer, with his consent. Investigators found four image files and two video files that “appeared to contain images of children under the age of 18 engaged in lewd exhibit of uncovered genitals for the purpose of sexual stimulation of the viewer.”

Investigators will move forward with forcible sodomy with a 13-year-old and possession of child pornography charges, among others related to the case.

Selig is a former Edmond Santa Fe High School employee and sports announcer.
