An earthquake shook up residents in Noble County, Wednesday afternoon.

The 3.5 magnitude earthquake struck at approximately 2:45 p.m., seven miles to the south of Perry, Okla., or about 50 miles north, northeast of the OKC metro, at a depth of three miles.

So far there have been no reports of damage or injuries associated with this quake.

According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely with quakes at magnitudes of 4.0 and higher above.
