Police Arrest Suspect In Shooting Death Of OKC Man

Oklahoma City police have arrested a man who is accused of shooting and killing another man back in September.

Oklahoma City police have arrested a man who is accused of shooting and killing another man back in September. 

According to police, on Saturday, September 13, officers responded to the report of a body being found at a home, located in the 100 block of S.E. 34th Street.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found the victim, 43-year-old Jose C. Hurtado, inside the home. Police said Hurtado had apparently been shot, and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Through investigation, officers were able to identity 54-year-old Joseph Thomas Johnson as a suspect. He was taken into custody Wednesday, October 9.

Johnson was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on one count of first-degree murder.
