Logan County authorities said they have located a runaway teenager who had been missing since Tuesday morning.
According to the Logan County Sheriff's office, Trance Rodenbough, 15, ran away at around 6:15 a.m. Tuesday. He is Type 1 diabetic and he did not take any of his medication with him.
Authorities said Rodenbough had been having recent issues with his blood sugar spiking. At the advice of his doctor, he was removed from school until the situation could be controlled.
According to Edmond police, at about 7 a.m. Wednesday, Rodenbough was found at the Wal-Mart along I-35 Frontage Road. Workers at the store called Edmond police to check the welfare of a teenager they noticed hanging out at the store for quite some time.
Rodenbough was returned to his parents. He was in need of medical care due to being diabetic.
This is not the first time Rodenbough went missing. In February this year, News 9 reported that Rodenbough ran away from his home. He was found several days later at the Waterloo Road Baptist Church, and was in need of immediate medical attention due to his condition.
