Holtzclaw was originally out on $500,000 bond and was under house arrest with several restrictions, including wearing a GPS monitoring device. However, authorities said Holtzclaw has had one violation reported when he went to the doctor's office without clearing it first.

Due to this violation, a judge decided on Thursday, October 2 that Holtzclaw would spend 14 days in the county jail. The judge has also increased his bond from $500,000 to $609,000 for violating terms of house arrest and bond conditions.

On Thursday, October 16, Holtzclaw posted bond again and was released from the jail. He will still be under house arrest at his father's home in Enid with several restrictions.
