An Oklahoma City man is facing charges of attempted rape and sexual battery after allegedly assaulting two maids at different hotels on the northwest side of the metro over the weekend.

OKC Police arrested 23-year-old Keautne Clark Saturday morning after responding to a sexual assault at the SpringHill Suites hotel, located near Quail Springs Mall.

The first victim told police she was cleaning a room at the hotel when Clark walked in. She asked Clark if it was his room she was cleaning and he replied “Yes”. But she says when she turned her back Clark came up behind her and wrapped his hands around her waist.

The woman told police that she immediately turned back around and slapped Clark in the face and he left without further incident.

While officers were taking the report from the first victim, a second call came in regarding a sexual assault at the Four Pointes by Sheraton hotel, located just to the northeast of the first incident.

The description of the suspect from the second call matched that given by the first victim. Responding police officers located Clark hiding behind a building in the 14200 block of North May Ave. and took him into custody. Police noted that Clark had multiple scratch marks on his face.

An officer then made contact with the second victim, who told police a similar story as the first victim. She said she was cleaning a room when Clark entered. He said, “Hello. How are you?” and continued to approach her.

The second victim told police that Clark put both of his hands around her throat and began choking her. She said she started to scream and scratch at Clark's face as the two struggled and went to the ground.

While on the ground the victim told police that Clark tried to tear open her shirt, all while she continued to struggle and scream. A passerby heard the commotion and burst into the room. Clark then got up and ran out.

Because he was already in custody, police took the victims to Clark and they both positively identified him as their attacker.

Clark was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on two counts of First-Degree Burglary, one count of attempted First-Degree Rape and one count of Sexual Battery. He is being held on a $50,000 bond for each count.
