Child Hit By Car In Southwest Oklahoma City Neighborhood

Emergency crews responded to reports of a child hit by a car in a southwest Oklahoma City neighborhood, Thursday afternoon.

First responders were called out to the area of SW 48th St. and S. Land Ave. around 3:30 p.m.

Oklahoma City Police said the child suffered injuries to the lower torso. That child was transported from the scene via ambulance in an unknown condition. Police said the driver that struck the child did stop.
